In this article we'll show you how to use Highlights to quickly edit a video.
When should you use this?
Assume that you uploaded an original video that needs to be cut excessively!
For example, your video is raw footage with lots of errors, silences and mistakes you might've made during recording. In this case, rather than trying to TRIM several parts of the video, you can just select what you want to KEEP instead!
How to Use Highlights and Snippets to Edit Video
In this case, instead of trimming your video, you can use a combination of TRIM video AND Highlight. By Highlighting you can select the video you want to keep.
Simply put:
1. Select a highlight color
2. Select any range of video you WANT to keep and HIGHLIGHT it
3. Optional - Combine with TRIMMING any unwanted parts also within highlighted parts!
3. Create a SNIPPET from your highlight!
This will create a new project, where you'll notice that only the highlighted parts are kept and any trims you've done are removed.
This should let you do further styling of your video more smoothly!
